What does DSAL mean?

DSAL means Auction Administration Charges (on vehicles) or in Portuguese Despesa Sobre Administração de Leilões (Veículos). The amount charged is dependent on the size of the auctioned vehicle.

Do I have to pay for forklift service?

No. However, there is a fee for services rendered by the yard which already includes the forklift service.

Is there a fee to mail documents?

Yes, see the table below. Documents and sale invoice may be sent to the bidder via postal service if at least one DI (identified deposit) is indicated among the lots you want to be sent. Members can now use the email documentos.veiculos@copart.com (or documents.curitiba@copart.com, if you bought the vehicle in the yard of Curitiba), which takes care of mail documents services. If the Member decides to use this service, then he/should make the bank deposit of the amount corresponding to the quantity of documents to be sent and its Region. The Member should include proof of payment, proof of residency or where the parcel will be shipped to, and personal document with photo in the email. Both the auction number and lot number should be included in the email's subject line.

Copart Members are responsible for any documents that may be lost in the mailing process as stated in the sale conditions.
